Shawn Rankin, CIEC | Senior Consultant

Shawn Rankin is the President and Senior Inspector of IAQ Ottawa. He has been performing air quality inspections since 2003. He is a Council-Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant, HVAC Designer, and a Course Provider and Lecturer. He also completed the CMHC Air Quality Inspection Training Program.

Shawn’s extensive training and experience in air quality testing, coupled with his knowledge and experience building healthy homes has garnered him the reputation of “the air quality guy”, able to solve complex issues in both residential homes and large commercial buildings.

Shawn is a sought-after continuing education instructor and has developed multi-media presentations and training programs for the Ontario Real Estate Board, the Canadian Institute of Mortgage Brokers and Lenders, the Registered Insurance Board of Ontario, the University of Ottawa, the City of Ottawa, and the Government of Nunavut.
